Description About the Role This is a practical, physical role that plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy branch. You’ll be responsible for keeping the yard and workshop areas tidy, functional, and safe - helping ensure equipment and machinery are ready for dispatch and that incoming stock is properly received. Your day-to-day will include: Managing the general appearance, order, and cleanliness of the yard and workshop areas Ensuring all equipment is prepared for transfers and deliveries Safely receiving and storing incoming machinery and attachments Supporting the workshop team with basic tasks Assisting with other general branch duties as needed Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to company procedures What We’re Looking For A current Forklift Licence (essential) Previous experience in a similar yard, workshop or logistics role A strong safety mindset and attention to detail Basic mechanical aptitude A dependable and self-motivated approach Someone who takes ownership and pride in their work This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, values teamwork, and likes to keep things organised and running smoothly.
