Together, we’ll help create a future for generations to come. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Power Advisory team. Providing technical leadership for the power system studies we undertake to assist intending participants to connect to the electricity grid. The primary role of the Senior Advisor is to partner with clients and provide solutions to address client challenges and deliver impactful results. This includes but is not limited to both winning work and project delivery efforts for the Business Group and supporting the expansion of services and market penetration. The Senior Advisor plays a key role in the development and mentoring of Graduates and Advisors. The nature of the business model at GHD allows for a high level of flexibility in where it is located, and this can be done from either of the following locations? Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne or Sydney. In this diverse role you will: Contributes and or lead activity in securing a pipeline of work for the region in an area of Power System Studies, Technical leadership on projects as required and direction and input on tenders/bids or proactive client proposals. Technical delivery of power advisroy project requiring detailed power system studies. Provide inputs for proposals and opportunity-related pursuits. Supports the development of tools and systems to efficiently deliver quality power system planning and analysis advice. Contribution to projects across the broader Business Advisory as required. Building effective relationships within GHD focusing on the community of engineers undertaking power system studies. What would you bring to the team? Technical Discipline Degree and/or post graduate or other professional qualifications. Proven proficiency in key power system analysis tools including PSSE, PSCAD, and PowerFactory Detailed understanding of the provisions in the National Electricity Rules and associated guidelines defining the model provision and technical performance assessment required progress a connection to National Electricity Market (NEM) Track record of assissting clients to navigate the NEM connection and registration process. Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships. Strong report writing, interviewing, facilitation and presentation skills. Interested?
