The Opportunity Join Austal, an industry-leading global shipbuilder, as an Equipage Coordinator and play a critical role in the successful delivery of our patrol boats and defence programs. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the timely ordering, receipt, storage, and handover of all equipage items and spare gear required for vessel acceptance. This is a hands-on logistics and coordination role where your attention to detail, organisation, and ability to work across multiple teams will directly contribute to meeting project milestones. What You’ll Do Plan and requisition all vessel items using approved provisioning lists, ensuring on-time supply aligned with acceptance schedules. Work independently to manage requisition schedules, applying supply chain knowledge and internal process expertise. Collaborate with departments during vessel outfit to track, document and confirm receipt of equipment. Coordinate and conduct client-facing audits for the handover of spares, preparing accurate records and deficiency lists. Verify incoming items with the project team, ensuring compliance with specifications, documentation, and quality requirements. Manage documentation for client handover and support the Acceptance Manager to secure all items to project timelines. What You’ll Bring Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite Background as a Warehouse Coordinator, Storeman or in logistics Experience in warehousing and supply chain operations Clear communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders An understanding of the importance of timely acceptance and how it impacts vessel delivery Desirable Stores/inventory/data administration experience Certificate course in inventory management or MS Office Experience in the Maritime or Defence sector Why Austal?
