Introduction LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR One Harvest, is leading the fresh food/FMCG industry with over 25 years in salad processing and packing. We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor in Wacol, QLD. This role reports to the Logistics Manager on site and involves all relevant standards, especially relating to People and Food safety are adhered to by all team members. The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that shift targets are achieved, through engagement and co-ordination of team members. Description Our ideal candidate will possess the following: Proven experience as a Logistics Supervisor or a similar role, with a strong background in shift operations within a FMCG, short shelf-life fresh product. Solid WMS experience within FMCG. Demonstrated expertise in logistics automation solutions and technologies. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement. Knowledge of inventory management, quality control, and safety regulations. Effective communication and reporting skills. Qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred although not essential. Skills And Experiences Academic qualifications Essential qualifications Qualified in front line management Demonstrated working knowledge of continuous improvement including six sigma, lean manufacturing, SMED, 5s, visual management, TPM Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing concepts and process improvement experience Work experience & skills Essential experience Experience in a supervisory role in a similar industry (FMCG/Manufacturing) Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to develop and inspire others and implement change. GMP, Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety training and experience Business acumen and KPI driven Strong analytical skills, problem solving and continuous improvement mindset. Strong planning and organisational skills Agile in work approach and ability to respond to changing priorities and production demands in a timely and efficient manner Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated emotional intelligence and influence Hands on team player, who leads by example Proven experience in logistics supervision, particularly within FMCG or fresh food sectors. Strong expertise in WMS and logistics automation technologies. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on team coordination and process improvement.
