We're seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Service Technician to join our Service Team. In this role, you'll provide crucial mechanical services on customer trailers and prime movers, prioritising safety, quality, and efficiency. You'll report to the Workshop Supervisor. What You'll Do: Perform mechanical services and reconditioning on truck trailers. Repair/replace heavy-duty trailer brakes, bearings, and air systems. Handle axle/suspension component removal/fitting with correct torque. Fabrication and repairs, as needed. Maintain workshop efficiency, complete paperwork, and record materials. What You'll Bring: Trade qualification or equivalent preferred, not essential. Experience in automotive, heavy vehicle, transport, or commercial plant maintenance. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of heavy trailer brake and air systems (preferred, not essential). Commitment to quality and timelines.
