Description About the role: The Delivery Practices team is responsible for ensuring and assuring that our portfolio resources and processes are optimised to deliver value for both members and People First Bank. Reporting to the Core Banking Senior leader your role is to successfully Implement and manage the delivery of BAU Initiatives within Core banking You will work closely with the Core Banking Senior leader, and your primary responsibility will be to implement BAU Initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Lead and coordinate the planning and Implementation of BAU initiatives. Reporting on success criteria results, metrics, testing, and deployment management activities Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence Ensure high quality delivery including; planning, execution, stakeholder management, dependency management and operational risk management (delivered and delivery) As well as iteration/sprint planning, retrospectives, reporting and tooling, managing and removing blockers Preparing budgets/forecasting and detailed project plan for all phases of the project Ensure understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs Participate in cross program planning (including cross program dependencies) About you: To be successful in this role, you will have proven track record of ensuring that the organisation’s portfolio of change initiatives have the right support processes, people and tools to be able to deliver on our change portfolio initiatives with quality, pace and flow. You will have demonstrated ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships, direct your team to deliver agreed scope, focusing on strategic outcomes and value creation Knowledge and Experience: Proven expertise in project management. Demonstrable experience managing medium to large projects using Waterfall, Agile or hybrid methodologies in a financial services industry organisation or equivalent. Core Banking Experience will be highly regarded. Experience managing multiple projects and associated interdependencies Experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment. Experience engaging, collaborating, and influencing key stakeholders and customers. Awareness and understanding of banking/financial services business and operations.
