About the role As our Oracle guru, you will lead the seamless delivery and ongoing maintenance of our finance systems, to support and strengthen our day to day operations as well as providing subject matter expertise on projects. As the system specialist for our finance transformation projects you will be lending your expert insights and advice to system implementations and process redesigns. Your role will be an interesting mix of BAU activities and key projects and initiatives. Facilitate month-end and year-end data rollovers, model refreshes, and data migrations, ensuring historical adjustments and policy shifts are traceable and auditable. Serve as a bridge between various finance and technology teams, promptly resolving issues during critical month/year-end processes and finance system updates. Take the lead as a financial system subject matter expert in transformation project discovery, design, and implementation of financial systems. Take ownership of Reece Oracle design, development, and testing responsibilities, ensuring best practices are applied to our system solutions and they evolve in line with our needs. About you Exceptional hands-on technical expertise in Oracle ERP and EPM, coupled with a proven track record of successful system implementations. Recent experience in system accounting, specializing in supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and planning processes within large, complex organizations. Extensive experience in reporting, data analytics, and adept problem-solving skills. Demonstrate mastery of SQL queries and Oracle coding language, coupled with advanced data modelling skills and a deep understanding of integrations and data management. Ability to use Oracle Visual Builder and Intelligent document recognition (IDR) is an advantage. Strong requirement gathering and change management skills, with a demonstrated capability in leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Possess a hands-on, team-oriented attitude, willing to tackle any task necessary to ensure the success of the team.
