About the role As our business continues to grow at a rapid pace, we’re on the lookout for a driven and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team! If you have a solid background in large-scale manufacturing projects especially involving switchboards, switchrooms, and kiosk systems, this is your chance to take on a dynamic role where your expertise will truly shine. Responsibilities may include: Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for custom and modular switchboards, transportable switchroom buildings and kiosks, including materials, Labour, subcontractors, equipment, and overheads. Conduct value engineering assessments to optimise cost-efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or safety. Assist with the training, development and mentoring of other estimating team members. Duties may include: Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and lead times Assist with technical aspects of design, manufacturing, testing and commissioning Analyse drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for accurate costing Support the project team to monitor the project program in respect to construction activities Develop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management, and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation Maintain an up-to-date awareness of all relevant electrical safety requirements, records, legislation, and policies and communicate these to employees. Ideally this position will be located at CE Group Yatala Advance Manufacturing facility. Requirements To succeed in this role, you will have: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator, with a focus on manufacturing projects, switchboard, switchroom and kiosk systems Initiative and a general drive for success Demonstrated experience in a similar role Well-developed communication skills including the ability to interact with internal customers, external stakeholders, and clients Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork Proficient in estimating software Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment Understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to switchboard, switchroom and kiosk systems Legal unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
