About the role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Compliance Officer to join our team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our supplier network meets company standards and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include assisting with supplier onboarding, managing the distribution, receipt, and review of compliance documentation, and ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. You will act as a central point of contact between internal teams and suppliers, coordinating timelines, monitoring progress, and resolving any documentation-related issues. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage tasks within agreed timelines are important. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational abilities, with prior experience in supply chain, compliance, or vendor management considered a strong advantage. The position will report primarily to the Procurement Manager and will be working very closely with other teams such as Finance, Legal, I.T., Export & Logistics as well as Engineering. What does a normal day look like? From the outset of Supplier engagements, you’ll be included in communications to project manage their onboarding, as the gatekeeper of DroneShield’s suite of Compliance documentation and act as the central point of contact, for internal teams to enquire about the status of their supplier engagement. You will also work through the existing Supplier database to ensure that all records are complete and compliant to company & industry standards. Qualifications, Experience and Skills Qualifications in Business or Supply Chain preferred but not essential Ability to work autonomously and as part of a fast paced team Strong ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and handle pressure Clear communication (both verbal and written) Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Oracle as business tools, highly regarded While some experience (1-3 years post education) is helpful, this role is also open to graduates Note for recruitment agencies: We do not accept unsolicited candidates from external recruiters unless specifically instructed.
