Here’s how you’ll shine: Proven experience in a Pastry Chef role – ideally you will have at least 2 year’s. Experience in a production kitchen or high-volume patisserie Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control that does not compromise operational efficiencies. Pride and understanding of the impact the role of Pastry Chef for our famed cake has on the success of the store and Black Star Pastry brand. Maintain a good level of understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry and trends. Maintain and contribute toward healthy teamwork and constructive working relationships. Communicate clearly, professionally, authentically, and concisely, escalating concerns as appropriate. Ability to be flexible and adapt to meet the changing demands of our agile business.
