The Site Belgravia Leisure are proud partners with the Moreton Bay Regional Council and will be the management company for the Redcliffe War Memorial Swimming Pool. This amazing site boasts a number of facilities including; a fully enclosed 50 meter, 8 lane Olympic size heated pool, a 18.3 meter heated learn to swim pool, baby wading pool, bbq and large grassed areas, 50mt pool has a large undercover grandstand, specialised learn to swim pools and coaching and training programs The Role Our Customer Service Officers are the heart of our business providing important services such as Reception, Merchandising and sales to our members, casual users and potential new members in accordance with our established operational routines and procedures. The primary responsibility of our Guest Experience Officers is to deliver first class services to our customers. We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills and communication. This role will require weekend work - Saturday's, Sunday's and Public Holidays on rotation. This is s casual position. You must have availability for evenings and weekend work. School and University students are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of the Aquatic Industry is a benefit but not essential. Key areas of responsibility include: Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the telephone Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems Provide customers inquiring about memberships with information and have the knowledge to sell memberships when a person joins or renews Promote the centres services and programs to customers and accept customer bookings and enrolments Develop and maintain good working relations with customers Promote and exercise good public relations at all times Opening/closing of the centre in accordance with security and safety procedures. Skills & Attributes: Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style Computer literacy, familiarity with software packages and point of sale systems Experience in the leisure industry is desirable. Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2). Current CPR Certificate. Blue card Additional Highly regarded skills: Lifeguard or Swim Teacher qualifications or desire to obtain. Knowledge of the Aquatic Industry is a benefit, but not essential.
