Food & Beverage Attendant – Café We are seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Attendant with a can-do attitude to join our Snack Bar Cafe. One of Australia’s premier private members’ clubs located in Rose Bay with breathtaking 180° views across our new ‘Bay Course’ and gardens, we offer a dynamic work environment that combines world-class hospitality with sporting excellence. The Role An indoor dining facility that operates 7 days a week offering a variety of ready-made items including sandwiches, pastries, pies and more as well as an a la carte lunch menu. Your main responsibilities will be to provide "Five Star" service at all times, taking orders and providing service accurately, processing payments. This is a casual position offering 15-25 hours per week, requiring availability to work shifts during the week and on weekends. Shift times can range between 6:30am starts to 5:30pm finishes. Free staff meals & wellbeing program (gym, tennis lessons, golf clinics) EAP Training & career development opportunities Uniform provided laundry allowance Staff discounts (wine, sporting goods, hotels) & free parking Main responsibilities of this role include: Deliver the highest standard of service to members and their guests Ensure that a standard of excellence is maintained in the quality and presentation of the Snack Bar area Keeping fridges stocked with drinks at all times, restocking as needed Keep display cabinet with pastries, salads and sandwiches clean at all times, writing name of products on glass screen each day Take accurate orders, operate POS register and effectively handle cash as required. Preparing various beverages including coffees, milkshakes, juices. Checking sandwich orders, preparing sandwiches according to the order and delivering to the relevant areas. Essential requirements Proven success in a Food and Beverage role in a similar setting. Proven commitment to member service and communication excellence (verbal and written). Passion for the hospitality industry. Motivated to learn new skills and techniques. Friendly, positive, energetic disposition. Exceptional presentation and grooming standards Previous food hygiene experience. Ability to work under pressure and multitask during peak periods. Workings rights in Australia and NSW RSA Certificate. Barista coffee skills.
