Your opportunity Based at Castle Hill , this full-time role leads the planning, coordination and quality delivery of all grounds, lawns, and garden services across a large multi-site village. You’ll manage internal teams and contractors, uphold exceptional horticultural standards, and ensure all green spaces reflect resident expectations, sustainability, and safety. With professionalism and vision, you will: Provide daily leadership to grounds and gardening teams, setting clear expectations and allocating tasks Oversee maintenance of lawns, gardens, bushland and seasonal vegetation across the site Develop and implement detailed maintenance schedules, planting guides, and seasonal plans Foster a safe, high-performing and engaged team, including mentoring apprentices and coordinating rostering and leave Manage capital works and improvement projects in collaboration with facilities and asset teams Respond to resident feedback and represent Anglicare at resident and stakeholder meetings Monitor contractor performance and report outcomes to the group Grounds & Gardens Manager What you’ll bring You are a passionate and experienced leader with strong horticultural knowledge and a commitment to maintaining beautiful, functional and resident-friendly outdoor spaces. You lead by example, communicate effectively, and inspire your team to deliver their best. You will also need: Demonstrated experience managing grounds, gardens or landscaping in a large site or facility Proven leadership capabilities including staff supervision, performance management, and team development Excellent knowledge of horticulture, landscape maintenance and seasonal care requirements.
