Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking motivated individuals to join a well-established Australian business in the timber industry. We have multiple opportunities available for Jig Operators and Pick Packers across both day and afternoon shifts. What You'll Be Doing Jig Operator Operate timber machinery and saws Carry out manual handling tasks Use hand and power tools Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace Pick Packer Pick and pack timber products and timber sheets Load trucks and vehicles manually Read and interpret paper pick sheets Operate forklifts (if licensed) Shift Times Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Mon-Fri) Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Mon-Fri) Saturday overtime available when required What We're Looking For Physically fit and able to perform manual work Full-time working rights in Australia Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening No prior timber experience required - full training provided Basic mechanical and technical aptitude Forklift licence (desirable, but not essential) Please note - Must have valid Australian working rights, and be able to provide 2 satisfactory reference checks.
