Description Category Specialist – Fresh Food and Logistics: Own the detail. Lead the strategy. Optimise everything. This role based in our Perth Corporate office, will require you to identify and tap into direct Fresh Food supply channels throughout Australia and manage the supply chain life cycle from sourcing, negotiation, contract management, supplier performance management, risk management, and category management. We are looking for energetic specialists who enjoy building quality relationships with individual and internal stakeholders and vendors alike. Key Responsibilities: Supplier negotiations with delegation across multiple categories Visit suppliers, stakeholders and sites as required Conduct Supplier business reviews as per contractual terms Process ‘fit for purpose’ goods and services aligned with business operating model Provide procurement support to the business across the Fresh Food Portfolio Assist in the development of and apply best practice systems for the supply chain including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, courier management, inventory management, reporting, shipment tracking visibility and KPI’s. Assists with Financial Analysis and Modelling Ensure all health, safety, quality and environmental standards and legislation are strictly met, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors and visitors, and promptly reporting any issues, potential issues or near miss events Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in business / commerce preferred Experience: Significant supply chain experience across Fresh Food and Logistics Categories. Previous experience in a corporate environment dealing with complex organisational structures. Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in remote locations, is an advantage. Skills: A people-first relationship building energy Excellent communication and collaboration Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Demonstrated high level self-organisational skills.
