We’re excited to expand our Parent Pathways Program in the Logan Central area, supporting parents and carers of children under six as they pursue employment, education, and career goals. We’re currently seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Mentor to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to lead and support a team of Mentors while providing personalised guidance to participants. Flexibility is required to work across our Brisbane South East offices. The Role - A Day in the Life of a Senior Mentor As a Senior Mentor, you’ll play a key role in empowering parents and carers by offering tailored mentorship and connecting them with essential resources. You’ll also support a team of Mentors, collaborate with program staff, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Parent Pathways Program. Your Key Responsibilities will include: Provide personalised mentorship and develop tailored action plans for participants Support and guide a team of Mentors to deliver high-quality services Manage a caseload and assist participants into employment and training opportunities Connect participants with childcare, housing, financial aid, and education resources Facilitate workshops and group sessions to foster community and engagement Monitor participant progress and adjust support strategies as needed Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with program requirements Collaborate with staff to ensure cohesive participant care Promote ETC’s values and contribute to program development and success Criteria for Success Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, or support services Strong leadership and team support capabilities Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences of participants Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by parents and carers Highly motivated to achieving general employment and training outcomes for participants and organisation's performance and KPI goals Familiarity with community resources and services Ability to interpret various guidelines and work within frameworks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and government systems (ESS highly regarded) A recent, clear National Police Check A current QLD Blue Card A certificate IV or higher in Employment Services and/or Community Services or similar (desirable).
