Description A bit about the role… The primary purpose of this position is to motivate, mentor and inspire team members to support the Joint Transition Authority (JTA) in the transitioning of Eligible Australian Defence Force (ADF) Members and Eligible ADF Family Members from their military to civilian life. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations by managing teams of people who are delivering high quality support services to a standard of excellence expected by The BUSY Group and the Commonwealth in the transitioning of eligible ADF personnel. You will have a particular focus on outcomes for participants by driving performance and providing support at the direction of the Regional Manager. This role is permanent full time, based in Canberra. Experience and confidence with group or public speaking. Previous experience with coaching and mentoring. Minimum of 2 years in a management position preferential. Ability to respond effectively to behaviours of concern, dealing with conflict or mental health issues. Previous experience in a careers advisory role is essential. Program Requirements - all mandatory; Must have one of the following: Minimum 5 years’ experience in the employment services industry or community services sector; Cert IV in Career Development (or similar); Minimum 4 years full-time ADF service in the preceding 5 years.
