Title : Temp QC Lab Technician Location: Rockdale, IL (Apollo Colors) Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5pm-3am (Train on 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm for 2 weeks) Pay: $22-$25/hour (Based on experience) Job Description: Performs laboratory testing of organic pigments. incoming raw materials, and pigment concentrates, i.e. "Flush Color" or aqueous dispersions, to assess the quality of individual batches against established standards. Essential Job Functions: Standardization of flushed color to customer approved standards and parameters. Checking pigment and incoming raw materials used in the flushing process. Regular calibration and maintenance of lab equipment to ensure accurate results. Computer data entry of customer specifications and test results for information processing and management reports. Job Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work well with others in a team environment. High School Diploma or GED preferred, or pass a pre-employment screening assessment. Applicant screening includes Strength Test, Drug Screen and Criminal Background check.
