Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this broad and influential role involves managing a portfolio that includes financial and management functions, risk and compliance, procurement, planning, corporate services, and leading the finance team. You will oversee financial operations and partner with the CEO and Chief Operations Officer (COO) to set and execute strategic financial directions aligned with CASA’s purpose of creating positive futures for people with disability in Central Australia. As the CFO, you will bring strong financial acumen and a commitment to purpose-driven work, ensuring CASA’s funds are allocated efficiently and effectively to maximize impact. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, guiding the organisation through fiscal challenges while focusing on service and outreach goals. Your insights will help drive innovative financial strategies, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and support the sustainability of CASA’s nonprofit efforts. You need to be a qualified CA or CPA and hold NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and National Police Clearance. Preference is for the successful candidate to reside in Alice Springs and work from CASA’s centrally located modern office.
