About the Role Our client is seeking 1 x experienced Production operator and 2 x Packing operators to join their team in two key areas: Food Coating and Food Packing. These roles are available on both day shift (6:00am–2:00pm) and afternoon shift (2:00pm–10:00pm). Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be working across both poultry and plant-based production lines, overseeing and coordinating the production line team, ensuring production targets are met, high standards in quality, efficiency, and workplace safety are maintained. Whether you're leading a coating line or managing a high-speed packing line, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role in an evolving & progressive organisation. Responsibilities Working within a small team across coating or packing production lines Machine/Line set ups and pre ops Machine/Line shut down and post ops Retrieving/Returning stock Monitor production flow and machine performance to meet output goals Downtime prevention & recording Weights & Visual appearance Troubleshoot issues related to coating, sealing or packing processes Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards Work collaboratively with supervisors and technical teams to improve efficiency Benefits and Perks Supportive, close-knit team in a family-owned business Modern, clean production facility with strong safety culture temp-to-perm with potential for ongoing role and long-term stability (Company boasts a very high retention rate within its personnel) Opportunities to develop with & within the business Be part of a company known for innovation, quality and people-first values Requirements Must have experience in a food manufacturing environment Experience working on a production or packing line For Packing Line operators: experience with form-fill-seal and end-of-line packing machinery highly regarded For Production operators: experience in food coating production preferred Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production goals Collaborative mindset and a willingness to lead by example Ready to Lead a Team in a Business That Values You?
