About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to interpret and execute technical drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to create metal components and structures. Measuring and marking out workpieces for cutting, shaping, and assembly. Utilising hand and power tools for metal cutting, bending, shaping, and joining. Operating metalworking machinery such as presses, drills, and grinders. Welding and joining metal parts using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques. Inspecting completed workpieces for quality and accuracy. Collaborating with team members to ensure project completion within the set timeline. Qualifications and Experience: Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role. Strong fabrication and welding skills. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
