About the role: The Enterprise Technology & Software Engineering team connect and build the technology tools that help our group work smarter, faster, and more efficiently. We achieve this by focusing on the configuration, development and continuous improvement of our Enterprise Technology platforms, our approach is seamless and iterative, prioritising agility and adaptability. By integrating modern engineering approaches and fostering a culture of constant innovation, we ensure that our core building blocks not only support current needs but also scales effortlessly for future growth. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll build, develop, enhance, maintain and support solutions that support the Ampol’s groups digital assets and customer facing technology. You’llwork closely with the business users and other TDD team members to ensure our solutions are fit for purpose and available when needed. As a senior member of the software engineering practice, you provide thought leadership through coaching and mentoring to the wider team. You’lltake us further by: Own the creation of componentdesign for larger solutions Own the delivery of the technical components of the solution, all the way through to production Provide technical expertisewithin the Software Engineering team Contribute to development of standards and best practices Keep current with technology and industry changes and contribute to discussion to improve existing solutions Mentor and coach peers and juniors in the wider team Contribute to the Software Engineering Community of Practice as well asDevSecOps, to ensure a broad organizational perspective and practice We’dlove it if you have: Extensive software development experience with focus on backend integration work within enterprise 5 years of Boomi experience, including mentoring other engineers and establishing best practice. Experienced in integration architecture, including best practice, trade-offs, resiliencyand reliability concerns. Experience with.Net/.NetCore, Azure Cloud Services Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including debugging, performance optimisation, and root cause analysis. Ability to explain complexity and influence technical and non-technical team towards simplicity Secure coding practices e.g.DevSecOps, participatein code reviews, source code management (GitHub), infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) We’lltake you further by: Our total remuneration is competitive.
