Job Description The Role The role will contribute to a key Data Transformation Program with one of our valued customers. This program is in its second phase and scheduled to run to the end 2027. The program has seen a data processing platform built on AWS using native AWS data and application services. This full-time contract role is on offer with an immediate start to the end of December 2025 with a potential 6-month extension available. This role is based in Canberra with the potential to work from home regular days of the week once onboarding is completed. Role responsibilities Provide oversight and alignment to ensure program solution architecture remains alignedwith organisation and its accompanying strategies. i.e. ICT. Collaborate and work closely with stakeholders, such as program architects and project teams, to understand businessrequirements and design and implement comprehensive architecture solutions. Provide technical guidance and leadership to developmentteams, ensuring best practice and standards are upheld. Maintain detailed documentation of architecture designs anddecisions. Contribute to architecture practices and maturity includingcross architecture domains where required (i.e. enterprise,business, data etc.) Contributing to planning and development of the products asrequired (through Agile ceremonies). Ensuring that code developed is testable whereapplicable. Contribution to the progression of the a23 strategy through participation in individual, Practice and a23 objectives. Desired Skills and Experience Skills, Experience and Qualifications The role seeks a varied skillset with proven experience in the following: Enterprise level experience in direction, design and development of cloud data analytics and processing platforms with AWS experience being preferred. Contemporary data management, processing and pipeline patterns and approaches. Data mesh and multi-account patterns, distributed data processing and data asset development, data cataloguing and publish/subscribe data access. Product and service development in scaled agile delivery i.e. sprints and project increments. Solution architecture and design documentation development. Working with other SMEs in identifying and presenting architectural and technical decisions, issues and options through program and enterprise governance processes. a23 Policy Handbook and Mandatory Training On commencing with a23, all employees and subcontractors are provided with the a23 Policy Handbook and asked to acknowledge their understanding and commitment to adhering to its policies. All employees and subcontractors are also assigned a suite of mandatory training that is required to be completed on an annual basis.
