Committed to nurturing the brightest minds, they are now seeking a highly creative and strategic Sales & Marketing Director to elevate the brand within the Australian market. The Role: This is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape the marketing vision of a globally respected educational institution. Blending strategic direction with hands-on execution, the role requires a self-starter who is just as comfortable developing high-level campaigns as they are delivering them. This is a growth role, you will need to cut through a saturated market, challenge legacy narratives, and connect with future facing families who expect more than brochures and billboards. There is a small internal marketing team, the successful candidate must be confident working independently and adept at engaging freelance creatives or agencies as needed. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a bold and ambitious marketing strategy that enhances the college's reputation and attracts high-calibre students across Sydney. Drive business growth through proactive business development, identifying and securing new opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand the college’s reach and impact. Lead the creation of integrated campaigns that showcase the college's offering, values, and achievements across digital, print, PR, and social media platforms. Manage all content development - from concept through to execution - ensuring all output is aligned with the college's tone, visual identity, and premium positioning. Source, brief, and manage freelance creatives (designers, writers, videographers) and external agencies as required. Oversee the website, social media channels, email campaigns, and promotional materials to ensure consistent and effective engagement. Identify new partnership and brand-building opportunities, both domestically and internationally. Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance, using insights to optimise future activity and demonstrate ROI. Collaborate closely with admissions, academic leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned with the student journey. About You: 10 years' experience in a broad marketing and sales role, ideally within start-ups, luxury brands, lifestyle, or education sectors. Experience in Business Development and driving growth for a company Proven ability to analyse data to drive decisions, skilled in interpreting analytics, measuring impact and adjusting strategy accordingly. A highly creative individual with a strong eye for design and storytelling, and a portfolio of impactful campaign work. Able to think strategically while confidently delivering day-to-day marketing execution. A self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude, able to work autonomously and make things happen. Experience managing freelance creatives and/or agencies. Strong digital expertise, including SEO, content marketing, social media, and CRM/email campaigns. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder engagement experience. Evidence of continued professional learning, industry engagement or thought leadership throughout career.
