Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Sydney-based project teams. In this pivotal role, you will lead on-site construction activities from start to finish — ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards of quality. You’ll be a key player in managing trades, site teams and subcontractors, while also maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. If you take pride in delivering exceptional project outcomes and enjoy working in a hands-on, solution-focused environment, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring quality and safety standards. Manage day-to-day operations of construction staff and subcontractors. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Ensure all work complies with project specifications, regulations, and timelines. Conduct site inspections, addressing any quality and safety concerns. Monitor project progress, costs, and schedules. Prepare reports and maintain detailed site records. Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure timely delivery of work. Required Experience 5 years of experience in a site management role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Solid understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) practices. Experience in project scheduling and cost management. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Why Join Mettle?
