We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing Data & AI team. This role is central to our mission of applying advanced AI and machine learning solutions to deliver measurable business value across finance, credit, operations, and customer engagement. Shape the future of AI in one of Australia’s most dynamic financial firms Competitive remuneration: $150,000 – $170,000 (inclusive of superannuation) Flexible hybrid working arrangement Collaborate with an elite data, AI, and engineering team Exposure to cutting-edge tools, high-impact projects, and opportunities for professional development Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy machine learning and AI solutions to solve high-value business problems Lead development of GenAI, LLM, and RAG solutions Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and data pipelines using MLOps best practices Apply CI/CD and containerisation for secure and scalable deployments in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver production-grade applications Contribute to the AI capability roadmap, driving experimentation and adoption of emerging technologies Skills & Experience 3–5 years in ML engineering, data science, or software engineering with ML applications Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, LangChain, Hugging Face) Strong SQL skills; experience with Snowflake, relational and NoSQL databases Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Docker, and API development Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning If you’re ready to design and deliver world-class AI solutions in a high-growth, impact-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.
