AHA has secured the contract to assist the Victorian Government Department of Education (DE) to rollout the Disability Inclusion Profile to all Victorian government schools. About the role The Facilitator Director is responsible for overseeing recruitment, training and quality of the facilitator team. The role works collaboratively with DE to ensure the Disability Inclusion reform achieves its aims and objectives, including ensuring the integrity of the profile process. The Facilitator Director proactively identifies emerging opportunities, improvements and enhancements relevant to the delivery of a high-quality facilitator service. The Facilitator Director will lead a positive, supportive and collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders. This requires a balanced and nuanced understanding of the priorities and pressures on various teams operating to support the reform. About you Your success is built on a deep understanding of child development, neurodiversity, and disability, framed by a strengths-based approach. You: Are a degree qualified (postgraduate preferred) Allied Health professional (Psychologist (educational/developmental preferred), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist) Have 10 years of experience working in/with schools Are a natural leader, and excel at building positive team cultures, supporting team members, and enhancing individual skills. Possess strong project management abilities and are skilled in developing high-quality written materials collaboratively, from initial scoping through to final delivery. Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and confidently engage with diverse stakeholders Take initiative, and work effectively under pressure with excellent attention to detail Have an in-depth knowledge of Disability Inclusion reform in Victoria, the history and context of the progressive roll-out since 2021, and the systems in place to support the reform.
