This is your opportunity to shape how talent is identified, developed, and supported across the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport. Reporting to the Director, Talent and People Operations, you’ll lead a high-performing team of specialists while also playing a hands-on role in delivering exceptional outcomes in talent acquisition, mobility, and executive management. Collaboration is key—you’ll partner with colleagues across People & Culture and with senior leaders across the department to align strategies, share expertise, and deliver consistent, impactful workforce outcomes. In this role, you will: Oversee the department’s mobility program, guiding employees through placements and transitions while ensuring alignment with sector policies. Provide expert advice on executive employment and remuneration, including approvals, role changes, and governance requirements. Drive strategic initiatives such as building future-ready talent pools, introducing assessment centres, and strengthening the capability of hiring managers and internal teams. Manage external vendor relationships and support organisational change initiatives with practical, innovative workforce solutions.
