Primarily based in our workshop, the position also requires flexibility to undertake field service work across Western Australia as needed. A rate of $78 per hour applies for field service assignments. What you'll need Strong auto-electrical knowledge, experience, and aptitude. Certificate III Auto Electrical or equivalent (Light Vehicle/ Marine/Heavy Road Transport/Agricultural). Ability to read electrical schematics with problem solving and diagnostic skills Experience working in Mining/Construction/Manufacturing/Heavy Machinery Previous underground experience is highly desirable Current Forklift license (desirable) Be willing and flexible to perform field service work across Western Australia when needed. Full working rights in Australia. The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement. Responsibilities Perform electrical/electronic system modifications and manufacturing tasks on Normet underground machines Conduct fault finding, repairing, replacing, and providing technical advice Inspect, audit, service, repair, and overhaul Normet equipment to OEM specifications in workshop or remote mine sites Electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on a wide variety of vehicles and plant equipment.
