About the Opportunity Working alongside Teaching Schools Alliance Sydney (TSAS), the College is now accepting applications for 2026 traineeships. This traineeship is tailored for future tertiary students who wish to embark on a Bachelor/Masters degree path to their initial teaching qualifications. William Clarke College is an active member of Teaching Schools Alliance Sydney (TSAS ). Our Alliance is a hub of eight schools who have committed to working together to create a new pathway of initial teacher education. This unique pathway is modelled on the highly successful Clinical Teaching Model and provides practical teacher training that inducts trainees into the art and craft of teaching, embedded within the values and ethos of the Alliance schools. We work in partnership with Alphacrucis University College , Australia's largest Protestant-affiliated tertiary provider, as well as University of New England (UNE) , an industry leader in online lifelong learning. About You We seek candidates who are prepared to commit wholeheartedly to the values and ethos of the College. Motivated to commence a 2-year Masters of Teaching, or 4-year Bachelor of Education degree with one of our university partners Collegiate and a good team player Actively support the College’s Christian ethos The successful candidate will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation Regular practicing member of a Christian church Traineeships include: Employment as a Teacher's Aide at William Clarke College 1-2 days per week, assisting in the classroom and developing practice with your Mentor Teacher. Full-time study (4-year Bachelor of Education or 2-year Master of Teaching) with your choice of Alphacrucis University College (50% scholarship), or University of New England (Commonwealth Supported Place where eligible). Bespoke weekly training sessions with your TSAS trainee cohort, facilitated by experienced teachers and hosted by the member schools. Guest lectures from Visiting Fellows, leaders in educational thinking and practice.
