About the Role ECTARC Wallaroo is seeking an experienced cook to join our passionate and capable team who are committed to enriching the futures of young children. As the cook in an ECTARC education and care service you would be required to plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks that meet the dietary requirements of children birth to five years. Essential Criteria An interest in providing nutritional meals for young children Ability to cook for large numbers Working collaboratively with children, families, and staff Good communication and time management skills Desirable Criteria: Certificate of Attainment in Safe Food Handling or willing to undertake Certificate of Attainment in Nutrition and Menu Planning or willing to undertake Benefits At ECTARC we pay highly competitive salaries above the award rate in accordance with the policies and procedures of ECTARC including Above award wages 50% discount on childcare fees for staff’s children enrolled in our quality services.
