Key Responsibilities: Restore and repair classic Holden models (1948–1984) with a focus on originality and precision. Source and fit genuine Holden parts, fabricating or adapting components where originals are unavailable. Engage with customers and enthusiasts, providing expert advice and regular project updates. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using both traditional methods and modern tools. Overhaul engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems to factory standards. Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance for optimal vehicle performance. Conduct Victorian roadworthy inspections and prepare vehicles for certification. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop in compliance with OH&S standards. Mentor apprentices and work collaboratively with the mechanical team. Suggest and implement improvements to workshop processes and service quality. Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year experience working with classic vehicles, preferably Holden models. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
