The key duties of the position include The Role The EL1 Integrated Project Manager (IPM) Joint Project 9101 Phase 01 (JNT09101PH1) leads the delivery of the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System (EDHFCS) within the Strategic High Frequency Communications (SHFC) Program. This role oversees acquisition, integration, and delivery activities to ensure capability outcomes meet the requirements of the Capability Manager (CM), on time, within budget, and to specification. The IPM is accountable to the EL2 Program Director (PD) SHFC, and, will manage a diverse team of Australian Public Service (APS), Australian Defence Force (ADF), and contracted staff, fostering high performance and ensuring compliance with Defence policies, frameworks, and governance processes. About our Team The JNT09101PH1 Project Team operates within the Integrated C3 Systems Program Office (IC3SPO), part of Joint Systems Division's (JSD) Joint C4 Systems Branch (JC4SB). The team's mission is to deliver enhanced HF communications capability to the ADF, ensuring strategic reach, resilience, and interoperability. Working closely with Defence customers, industry partners, and Capability Acquisition & Sustainment Group (CASG) stakeholders, the team manages procurement, integration, and sustainment activities under the Materiel Acquisition Agreement (MAA). Leveraging strong governance, project management discipline, and technical expertise, the JNT09101PH1 Project Team ensures delivery of capability outcomes that strengthen national security and meet the strategic priorities of Defence.
