Why you will love this opportunity as Product Manager – Health & Care at Civica As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the strategic vision for your team driven by Civica’s overall vision and creating product roadmaps that align to Civica’s strategic goals. You will be responsible for leading other product managers, collaborating with product design, user research, engineering and commercial teams. Overseeing lifecycle management of your product, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and vision of becoming a global GovTech champion, whilst delivering critical products and services to citizens around the world. You will be an expert in creating clear and precise customer and outcome focused requirements. You will lead by example and have hands on execution of the product strategy for your product delivery, ensuring that product development practices and roadmaps are aligned to our global vision, to maximise productivity and growth. What you will do to be successful in this role as Product Manager Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and business goals to define and refine the product roadmap Own the roadmap for our Policy Administration System (PAS) product named Ensure Work closely with various stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and customer success teams to ensure successful product development and launch Work cross-functionally to achieve the technical and commercial outcomes of successfully onboarding new customers to Ensure Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and market research to gather feedback and insights that inform product decisions Hands-on approach to defining and prioritising product requirements to guide the engineering process Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of product features and releases Plan and execute successful product launches collaborating closely with Product Marketing team, including developing launch plans, positioning, and messaging Coach and support your direct reports in product management including but not limited to PRDs, refinement, elaboration, release strategy, story mapping etc. Coach and manage the engineers and services staff to deliver on product outcomes Influence leadership to support the transition to a product-led approach vs project-led Analyse data and metrics to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed data-driven product decisions Champion a strong culture of knowledge sharing and product decision and design documentation Requirements Requirements: Strong product management experience, working in a modern software or product-led organisation Solution architecture know-how, specifically in relation to legacy software and how to best achieve the technical outcomes required to migrate from business-critical legacy systems to modern software release patterns Experience operating with Agile development methodologies to manage product development and collaborate with engineering teams Ability to navigate and address the complexities of product lifecycle management, including the transition of multiple customers from legacy systems to a single product roadmap Strong analytical skills to collect, analyse, and interpret data to inform product decisions and identify market opportunities Technical sales experience will be useful as this enables you to lead customer conversations on how to migrate with minimal disruption Capable of prioritising features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility Driving force behind building and executing a product roadmap and strategy that aligns with customer needs and company goals Working across multiple functions to align sales, services, engineering, etc. to create alignment and shared understanding Experience with tools such as Figma, Notion, Aha and GitHub Commercial background in PHI is a bonus We really do want you to bring your whole self to work.
