About the role
CrewSELECT is seeking Mechanical Fitters for a large-scale plant construction project in Yatala. You’ll play a key role in structural, mechanical, and piping installation works, supporting the build from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install spools, valves, and instrumentation
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Perform mechanical fitting and alignment tasks
- Unbox, prepare, and position plant components
- Work collaboratively with site teams to meet project targets
Qualifications/Experience required
- Trade Qualified – Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter)
- White/Blue Construction Card
- Strong construction or SMP experience
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Highly regarded (not essential)
- Working at Heights
- Rigging or Dogman ticket
- Telehandler or EWP licence
What’s on offer
- $60/hr + penalties + super
- Daily travel allowance $27.52
- Monday–Friday, 6am–4:30pm
- Long-term project through Dec 2025 (potential extension)
