About the Role We are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to join BDO as the Head of IT Operations and Service Delivery. This senior leadership role will be responsible for the strategic and operational planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of BDO’s enterprise IT infrastructure, operational services, and systems. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will ensure the delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable technology services that support business objectives and enable organisational growth. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all IT operations, including network architecture, security, hardware, software, and National IT Service Desk. Lead the strategic infrastructure direction and digital transformation initiatives. Lead implementation and sustainment of infrastructure and platforms across hybrid Azure cloud and on-premises environments and a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Contribute to development and execution of technology strategies that drive innovation and align with business goals. Mature ITSM policies whilst building scalable and resilient IT processes and frameworks to ensure to ensure service excellence and timely issue resolution. Track IT performance and KPIs to drive continuous process and service improvements. Maintain IT security controls and data protection measures, conduct IT risk assessments and manage incident response. Develop processes and policies for IT Infrastructure, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements. Oversee the adoption of emerging technologies, infrastructure modernisation, cloud migration, and automation initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers. Develop and manage IT operations budget and financial forecasts. Champion organisational capability in emerging technologies and agile methodologies. About You You are a service-oriented and performance-driven leader with a proven track record in managing infrastructure and operations teams within complex organisations. You have strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a passion to build high-performing teams while continuously seeking improvement. Your ability to lead change, drive technology operations and deliver measurable business outcomes will be key to your success. Experience working with Azure cloud services, hybrid architectures, and emerging technologies is essential.
