We are looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing Officer to support procurement and supply chain activities across our client’s operations. This role is responsible for ensuring goods and services are sourced and delivered on time, at the right quality, and in line with business needs. Key Responsibilities Coordinate purchasing activities to maintain continuity of supply and minimise stock shortages. Monitor inventory levels and action priority re-orders where required. Manage purchase requests, convert service orders, and process returns. Source products and services in line with procurement guidelines and negotiate favourable outcomes. Track and follow up on outstanding orders to secure timely deliveries. Build positive working relationships with internal teams and suppliers, including regular review meetings. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Strong ability to engage with stakeholders and provide excellent service. Attention to detail with sound written and verbal communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Experience with Pronto ERP system (Essential). Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving capability. Previous purchasing or warehousing experience within resources/mining highly regarded. Current C-Class Driver’s Licence (Essential). Certificate III in Procurement or Diploma in Supply Chain (Desirable).
