This is a full-time, permanent position commencing Term 3 ASAP Key focus areas The Secondary English teacher will fit the following criteria:- Experience teaching Stage 6 English courses. Ability to teach Stage 6 Extension subjects an advantage. Knowledge and experience of the new NSW Syllabuses implementation, as well as strong knowledge base of the subject’s content and best practice pedagogy in English. Applying knowledge and experience of the qualities of effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative teamwork approach. Capacity to share a vision for contemporary learning in an all girls setting. Modelling impactful pedagogy that enables students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential. Commitment to the continual improvement of teaching practices and adopting reflective practices in evaluating performance. Experience in demonstrating high level interpersonal and communication skills. Engagement in a variety of roles in various educational contexts demonstrating competence and expertise in pedagogical content knowledge that promotes student learning growth. Ability to engage in professional learning in English and whole school activities for learning improvement. Ability to analyse learning performance data and plan appropriate teaching programs to meet diverse learning needs.
