We're looking for a dedicated Area Maintenance Person (Vegetation Management) to join our dynamic Parks & Recreation team! In this hands-on role, you'll put your skills and knowledge of vegetation management to work, helping us preserve and enhance the green spaces our community loves. To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria: Demonstrated relevant work experience, which includes the safe operation of plant and equipment, namely the use of tractors, slashers and reach-arm mowers and the use of multiple tractor implements and maintenance including slasher deck, front-end loader and reach-arm attachment etc. Experience with undertaking vegetation management works including on roadside reserves. Experience in maintaining of public open spaces Experience in the application of herbicides on roadsides and public reserves via the use of a vehicle mounted spray unit Current NSW MR Drivers Licence, Work Health and Safety General Induction for Construction Work in NSW (White Card) and AQF3 Chemical Use and Handling or willingness to obtain.
