We're seeking a motivated and practical supervisor to lead our cleansing and environmental services crew. What You'll Be Doing: Leading From the Front: Guide your team through daily operations with hands-on support, ensuring consistent service delivery in areas like waste collection, street cleaning, and public area maintenance. Team Management: Supervise and motivate a dedicated crew, encourage a positive team culture, and manage staffing to meet operational needs. Planning and Coordination: Organise rosters, allocate resources, and oversee schedules to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to standard. Data-Driven Planning: Assist in reporting and planning by using spreadsheets and basic data to track workload, team capacity, and service performance. Improving Services: Identify ways to boost efficiency, streamline processes, and maintain high service levels across cleansing operations. Safety First: Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all activities are compliant with WHS requirements and council procedures. What You'll Need: Demonstrated experience in cleansing, waste services, or a similar operational environment. Solid background in team supervision or crew leadership. Strong understanding of street cleansing equipment and general plant use. A valid C class driver's license. Basic computer skills and the ability to use spreadsheets and reporting tools. A proactive approach to safety and a willingness to attend relevant WHS training.
