About the role The role leads public affairs account management across assigned business units, creating and maintaining strategies that build trust, engage staff, and strengthen the Town’s reputation. Reports to the Public Affairs team and collaborates with internal stakeholders to inform and empower employees. Skills & experience Tertiary education in communications, public relations, journalism, or a relevant field. Extensive experience in strategic communications, including internal and digital. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to deliver multi-channel communications and engagement materials. Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines. Experienced in project management from conception to delivery. Duties & responsibilities Lead internal communications strategy and delivery, supporting employee engagement. Oversee internal communications channels and branding. Ensure consistent messaging across business units. Develop, implement, and evaluate communications and marketing plans. Manage external suppliers, including briefs, approvals, and contract expenditure.
