About the role: LHG is seeking Level 2 Registered Nurse to join the expanding residential care team at our Glynde location to cover a parental leave vacancy. This exceptional role entails not only engaging directly with residents but also involves taking on strategic leadership responsibilities. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and Care Manager, you will play a key role in providing first-class, individualised care for each resident using a strengths-based approach. What You’ll Do: Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance residents' quality of life and health through strong clinical governance. Empower residents and families by providing education and advocating for their rights and responsibilities. Support and guide the care team to promote a collaborative culture focused on excellence and continuous development. Actively participate in quality and risk management to ensure compliance with standards and drive continuous improvement. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration required. Previous experience as a Clinical Nurse or Care Coordinator in aged care or a similar setting is highly valued. Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills are essential. Demonstrated leadership qualities are highly regarded. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across diverse groups. Effective time management skills to handle a busy workload, meet deadlines, and support colleagues. Special Requirements This is a NDIS risk-assessed role – a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is required Recommended to have current vaccinations in line with government health directives (e.g. COVID-19, influenza) Must complete a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process Why Join LHG?
