Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm The Organisation You will be working for an Aboriginal Corporation established in 2009, committed to providing a mix of direct and partnership-based service delivery, particularly for services that are more appropriately delivered from an Aboriginal controlled organisation and space. Your Main Duties You will be responsible for providing a range of services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges You will be working with the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Team supporting Aboriginal people to receive appropriate services and support to assist in their recovery Improving the social and emotional health and wellbeing of Aboriginal communities in the outer east of Melbourne Enhancing access to mental health services, facilitating an integrated approach Connected services including social and emotional wellbeing, suicide prevention, alcohol and other drug treatment services. Address the underlying causes of mental illness Support clients in symptoms management Reconnect community members to culture, land and community The Location Tucked at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, this town in Victoria offers a peaceful blend of natural beauty and friendly, small-town charm.
