ConsultANZ is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor for a mining project in Perth. The role is with a well-known piling contractor that specializes in ground improvement and engineering. Main Duties: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site and in the office Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment Support mining operations with safety guidance and risk management strategies Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel Investigate incidents and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement Liaise with management and contractors to ensure adherence to H&S standards Requirements: Certificate in Health & Safety (degree not required) 3–5 years’ experience, ideally in civil engineering (piling experience preferred but not essential) Proven site-based engineering background with strong H&S expertise Proactive, decisive, and confident in safety interventions Strong reporting, investigation, and communication skills Familiarity with ICAMS or similar safety systems Flexible to work FIFO to sites northwest of Perth Roster Options: Option 1: 2:1 (2 weeks on-site, 1 week off) Option 2: 1 week on-site / 1 week office Benefits: Competitive contract rate: $625–$875/day super, depending on experience Potential to transition to a permanent role Exposure to mining projects and professional development Flexible rosters to support work-life balance APPLY NOW If interested, or email mary.maminta@consultanz.com.au and jane.lara@consultanz.com.au to hear more about this opportunity.
