Senior Windows Desktop Engineer Australian Citizen (as baseline clearance will be required) As a Senior Windows Desktop Engineer , you will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise end-user technologies in a complex environment. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll contribute technical expertise in Microsoft Windows SOE, device and application management, enterprise messaging, and collaboration tools. You will also provide Level 3 support, mentor junior engineers, and drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the Windows SOE and corporate device configurations (desktop and iOS mobile). Manage enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms, including Exchange (Server and Online) and Teams . Support and enhance enterprise remote access solutions (VDI and VPN). Package and deploy desktop applications; manage automated patching processes. Provide expert technical advice and represent the section in ICT forums and governance processes. Deliver Level 3 technical support for escalated issues. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure policy compliance and seamless integration. Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles. Contribute to project planning, upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts. Mentor and support junior engineers. Monitor system performance and implement proactive improvements. Key Technologies Microsoft Windows SOE, Intune, Group Policy, and automation tools.
