Our client is a Gold Coast based residential builder/ developer that is experiencing some huge growth across all residential housing divisions. Due to this continued growth and a current member of staff going on maternity leave they are now looking to bring on board a motivated Sales and Production Estimator. You will be working in a team of 4 including a very experienced Estimating Manager , working across investment and retail housing As a Sales and Production Estimator based in their Gold Coast head office, you will be required to complete full take-offs, quotes for projects and BOQ's. You will set prices based on supplier rates and schedules, calculate quantities and liaise with the Sales team , Drafters, Site Supervisors and the customers. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: Minimum 5 years' experience in residential estimating Ability to work independently Highly proficient in DataBuild Previous experience working for a volume builder as both Sales and Production Estimator Effective communication and negotiation skills Ability to prioritise, plan and achieve project objectives across multiple concurrent projects Team oriented, resourceful The ability to work in a fast paced environment, along with a high level of attention to detail are required for this role. You will have excellent communication skills along with a career minded attitude.
