We're looking for a Commercial Specification Sales professional to drive growth across NSW and QLD . The Opportunity This isn't your standard "spec path" role. Success here isn't about relying on a built-up network of specifiers-it's about business development . You'll engage a broad range of architects, designers, builders, and developers, making sure they know what the products do, how they benefit their clients, and why they should be considered in every project conversation. Think breadth over depth : you'll touch many specifiers with lighter relationships, and your ability to influence multiple stakeholders across projects will make the difference. If you've worked in industries like building materials, bricks, steel, flooring, facades or construction systems Windows, HVAC, Lifts and Elevators, warehousing systems as examples -where success comes from navigating the broader project ecosystem and making sure that when a product that is not in every project is required you and your brand are the one people think of - this role will feel familiar. What You'll Do Build brand awareness of solutions across a wide base of specifiers and project stakeholders. Make our client the first name that comes to mind. Develop and manage a strong pipeline of specification sales across NSW & QLD. Deliver engaging CPD and "lunch & learn" sessions to inform and influence decision-makers. Drive new project opportunities in both residential and commercial markets. Provide technical product insights and training to architects, builders, and developers. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product development to deliver for clients. Report regularly on pipeline, performance, and market trends. About You We're looking for a hunter, not just a farmer. You thrive on opening doors, creating awareness, and building momentum. You understand how to navigate multiple stakeholders in complex projects and can confidently introduce innovative solutions to decision-makers. You'll bring: Experience in business development or specification sales in the construction, design, or building products sector. Strong presentation and influencing skills. Confidence in engaging new contacts and building credibility quickly. The organisational skills to manage a wide but active pipeline. A collaborative, customer-focused mindset.
