Key Responsibilities of The Leader of Learning: Strategic Leadership: Contributes to the delivery of the system's strategic intent and learning agenda, leading the implementation of the learning framework, agreed pedagogical practice, and school action plan, including literacy and numeracy goals. Faith and Culture: Exercises Catholic leadership and fosters the faith formation of students and staff, contributing to a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility across the school. Ensures relevance and rigour in learning experiences and quality teaching through ongoing research and analysis of data to support evidence-based practice. Operational and Compliance : Tracks, reports, and meets compliance requirements for all assigned areas of responsibility and components of registration and accreditation in accordance with school, system, and legislative requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Accredited Teacher Qualification: A tertiary qualification in education, or a degree in a specific discipline with a graduate teaching qualification. Leadership Experience: Proven experience or a clear capacity to lead a high-performing team in a school environment. Subject Matter Expertise: A deep and passionate knowledge of the Science curriculum. Compliance and Residency: A current Working with Children Check and legal status as an Australian resident or citizen.
