Manager, Commercial Compliance Job No: 676893 Sydney - Inner Suburbs & CBD, Brisbane - Inner Suburbs & CBD, Adelaide, Melbourne - Inner Suburbs & CBD, Various Max Term Full Time Insurance Pay Band 6 We're seeking a Compliance Manager to lead a team in delivering key compliance management activities across our Commercial Insurance & Personal Injury function. In this role, you'll provide expert advice and insights to effectively manage compliance risk, ensuring our frameworks align with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. You’ll play a pivotal role in assessing and enhancing compliance arrangements in response to business changes, regulatory updates, and evolving risk areas. This is a 9 month secondment opportunity. What you’ll do Build capability within the team to drive consistent and pragmatic compliance management practices applicable to Commercial Insurance Assess the adequacy of compliance arrangements relevant to the business portfolio including in relation to monitoring of compliance control effectiveness, governance arrangements, and compliance plan coverage Provide strong subject matter expertise on the regulatory compliance environment, obligations, licences and key projects and report insights to executive management committees Manage ASIC administration activities and authorisations relevant to the business portfolio, including supporting Responsible Manager processes Collaborate with compliance teams, business risk partners and business stakeholders across the Group to share insights and promote continuous improvement and consistency of approach in relation to compliance management practices What you’ll bring Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, risk, law or other related degree (desired) Australian Compliance Institute or Governance Institute of Australia membership or accreditation or similar (desired) 8-10 years regulatory compliance / risk management, legal or commercial experience in the financial services industry, specifically covering Commercial Insurance Proven experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders, including senior management Proven experience in managing external partners, relationships and negotiations Advertised: 20 Aug 2025 AUS Eastern Standard Time Applications close: 27 Aug 2025 AUS Eastern Standard Time Whatsapp Facebook LinkedIn Email App Don't see a job for you?
