Wireless Telecommunications Technician – Darwin, NT HRG is seeking skilled Wireless Telecommunications Technicians on behalf of a leading provider of mobile network infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory. Based in Darwin with regular travel to regional and remote sites, you’ll be part of a trusted team supporting major carriers with new builds, upgrades, and maintenance. What you’ll do: Install, configure, and commission Ericsson & Nokia BTS hardware. Integrate sites with NOCs and carry out Remote Integration Testing (RIT). Install and align microwave transmission and backhaul systems. Terminate RF, hybrid, DC power, and fibre connections. Perform VSWR, PIM, and signal quality testing, as well as preventive maintenance. Complete site documentation, JSAs, and compliance checks to WHS and carrier standards. About you: 3–5 years’ telecom installation/maintenance experience. Proven Ericsson/Nokia BTS knowledge. Licences: Working at Heights, RF Awareness, White Card, First Aid/CPR. Strong testing, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Flexibility for FIFO/DIDO travel and remote work across the Northern Territory. Desirable: microwave alignment, fibre splicing, Telstra/Optus/VHA experience.
